Job Details Job Location: 66 Boerum Place, 66 Boerum Place, Brooklyn, NY, 11201 - Brooklyn, NY 11201 Position Type: Part-Time Education Level: Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Salary Range: $24.51 - $24.51 Hourly Travel Percentage: Up to 75% Job Shift: Any We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Specialist to join our Treatment Family Foster Care (TFFC) program at HSVS. Under the direction of the TFFC Supervisor, the Behavioral Specialist will provide comprehensive behavioral support and intervention services in alignment with program standards and treatment objectives, serving clients across our Brooklyn and Queens program sites. Please note that this role is a part-time position. Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of Position Observing and assessing client’s behavior. Develop and implement treatment plans to address behavioral issues. Support clients throughout the treatment process. Communicate with clients’ teachers, caregivers, and families to implement treatment plans. Monitor and record treatment progress. Conduct assessments to determine clients’ improvements. Maintain client's records and treatment reports in Connections. Collaborating with other healthcare specialists and support organizations. Perform other related duties as assigned, within the scope of the role. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. RBT or ABA certification required. Bilingual preferred. Demonstrated experience working directly with clients and individuals with special needs, preferably within the age range of 2 to 21 years. Strong working knowledge of behavioral theory and applied behavior analysis. Understanding of the characteristics and behaviors associated with disorders. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to handle intense emotional situations. Ability to apply behavioral principles. Willingness to commute to Brooklyn and Queens as required.
