Join Our Team as a Material Handler at Epiroc!

This dualrole position is responsible for the safe, efficient movement of materials within the facility and the proper handling, sorting, and recycling of pallets in alignment with company policies and sustainability goals.

Work Type: Onsite

Schedule: 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand
• Stage materials for production and shipping as required
• Verify counts and condition of materials; report discrepancies
• Assist with inventory counts and organization of storage areas
• Ensure proper labeling and documentation of materials and products
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
• Collect and sort used pallets from warehouse and shipping/receiving areas
• Inspect pallets for damage and determine repair, reuse, or recycling options
• Coordinate pallet returns with vendors or recycling partners
• Maintain accurate records of pallet quantities and recycling activity
• Keep pallet storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Support company sustainability and wastereduction initiatives

Knowledge/Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in warehouse operations or material handling
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)

Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of pallet types, conditions, and recycling processes (preferred)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Basic computer or inventory system skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, motivated, and committed to safety and quality

The work environment includes being regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 25 pounds, frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds and is occasionally required to lift up to and in excess of 100 pounds.
