Subway Manager

The Subway Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, including customer service, food quality, employee supervision, scheduling, inventory, cash handling, cleanliness, and compliance with Subway and company standards. Candidate is a dependable, hands-on leader who can motivate a team, maintain high service standards, and keep the restaurant running efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities Includes, but not limited to:

• Greet customers and provide an exceptional experience on an ongoing basis
• Operate cash register, according to PMG standards, surrounding cash handling, record keeping, and paperwork
• Uphold food safety standards during preparation and serving of food
• Prepares food neatly, according to formula, and in a timely manner
• Ability to train, coach, and hold employees accountable
• Is required to be Serve Safe Certified
• Completes SUBWAY courses as directed and in full compliance with Subway
• Recruits, rewards and terminates staff as necessary
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Must be dependable, professional, and able to work independently, if necessary
• Execute daily store tasks with speed, accuracy, and efficiency
• Communication of daily issues/challenges with Management
• Ensure PMG policies and procedures surrounding Safety and Operational Excellence are executed
• Perform work with Integrity, Honesty, and Respect

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or college degree

Skills & Abilities

• Basic math, cash-handling, and computer skills
• Previous restaurant, retail, hospitality, or customer-service experience
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds comfortably
• Reliable transportation
• Schedule Flexibility
• Strong customer service and communication skills
