Security Technician - Lubbock, TX


Loyal Source is hiring Security Technicians to support the installation of physical security systems in a construction/data-center environment. This role involves hands-on installation, cable work, and teamwork with multiple trades.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure CCTV, access control, alarms, and related security equipment
• Pull, route, label, and organize low-voltage cabling
• Assist with system integration and device mounting
• Install conduit and cable trays per project drawings
• Troubleshoot installation and connectivity issues
• Coordinate with electricians, network teams, and other trades
• Follow all job-site safety procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation of cabling and installed devices
• Ensure all work meets quality and security standards

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of security system or low-voltage installation experience
• Experience with cable pulling and conduit work
• Valid driver's license
• Knowledge of low-voltage cabling and basic electrical safety

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical training or certifications (NICET, CompTIA Security+, etc.)
• Experience in new construction or data centers
• Familiarity with CCTV, access control, and alarm systems
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined or elevated spaces
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
