Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Job ID PHS-6414 Position CT Tech Shift Schedule (VARIABLE SHIFTS) Location Redding, CA, 96001 Start date 04/20/2026 - 04/19/2027 Pay $60 -$65 PER HOUR Job Summary The CT Technologist performs diagnostic computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols. The technologist ensures high-quality images, prioritizes patient safety, and maintains compliance with all regulatory and hospital standards. This is a per diem, variable shift role with flexible scheduling based on departmental needs. Qualifications Education and Work Experience: One year of acute, clinical radiology experience Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment is required. Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required. Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT. Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State Effective 07/01/2015, CT ARRT Certification is required. Must maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire. Proficient computer skills. Key Responsibilities Perform CT imaging procedures using proper technique and patient positioning. Verify patient identification and physician orders prior to exam. Prepare and administer contrast materials safely and effectively under supervision and per protocol. Monitor patients during procedures to ensure comfort and safety. Evaluate images for technical quality and submit for interpretation. Maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation in PACS/RIS systems. Follow radiation safety standards and infection control procedures. Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care. Maintain equipment in good working condition and report any malfunctions promptly. Participate in continuing education and maintain required certifications.
