We invite occupational therapists interested in taking control of their careers to contact us to experience the difference.**Job Summary**We are seeking a motivated and compassionate **PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)** to join our rehabilitation team on an as-needed basis. In this role, you will assist Occupational Therapists in providing therapeutic interventions to help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities, enhance mobility, and promote independence.**Key Responsibilities*** Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.* Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and adaptive techniques to improve daily living skills.* Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and assistive devices.* Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes to the Occupational Therapist.* Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a well-rounded approach to patient care.* Adhere to ethical, professional, and compliance standards in occupational therapy services.## Qualifications* Education: Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.* Licensure: Active and valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Missouri.* Certification: NBCOT certification (preferred).* Experience: Prior experience in rehabilitation or clinical settings preferred.* Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.* Certifications: CPR certification (preferred).**Work Environment*** PRN (as-needed) position with flexible scheduling.* Skilled Nursing Facility* Requires adaptability and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a care team.**Compensation & Benefits*** Competitive hourly wage based on experience.* Opportunities for professional growth and development.A rewarding role helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life.We are an equal opportunity employer.
