CRNA opportunity to practice with autonomy at short term acute care Pottstown Hospital in Pottstown, PA. The 232-bed Pottstown Hospital, located in Pottstown, PA, is a voluntary nonprofit hospital that is part of Tower Health. This short-term acute care facility has a number of treatment specialties, including sports medicine; joint replacement; arthroscopic surgery; osteoporosis, arthritis; bodily injuries, trauma, and fractures; and behavioral health.

Case Assignments: Ortho, urology, vascular, and more. CRNAs are offered the opportunity to perform regional blocks at this location.

Shifts: 8's, 10's, 12's, 24's, weekends, and holidays.

Team Highlights: This medical facility has a dynamic, team-oriented approach. The facility provides opportunity for teaching SRNA's as well as autonomy with support.

Requirements:

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discusses anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements:

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
