Travel Speech Language Pathologist – Childress, TX Focus Staff is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech therapy services to pediatric patients and older adults based on diagnosed conditions. The assignment is a 13‑week contract (temporary). Job Details Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 07/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8‑hour days (5 days per week) Employment Type: Travel Location: Childress, TX Responsibilities Provide therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities. Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records. Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements. Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the company’s Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards and applicable state/federal laws. Qualifications Proven experience as a Speech Language Pathologist (at least 2 years). Graduate of a master’s level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by an Education Standards Board or whose practice meets ASHA certification requirements. Must possess independent decision‑making skills. Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families. Benefits Pay depends on location and experience.
