Forklift Operator

Our client, a leader in industrial operations, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the logistics department supporting warehouse and inventory management teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operators

Location: Middletown, NY

Pay Range: $21.80/hr

Shift: 2nd Shift - Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm; Alternating Saturdays; 3rd Shift - Monday-Friday 11pm-7am; Alternating Sundays

What's the Job?

• Operate forklifts and other lifting devices to move, load, unload, and stack materials, products, and goods.
• Perform pre-operation inspections and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Load and unload materials from trailers, trucks, and other transport vehicles accurately and safely.
• Manage inventory by storing, organizing, and tracking items in designated storage areas, updating records as needed.
• Adhere to all safety rules and procedures, securing loads properly, and reporting safety concerns promptly.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years of forklift operation experience.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts and lifting devices.
• Strong attention to safety and detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Reliable and able to work the specified shifts and days of the week.
