Mechanical Revit Designer - Experienced or Entry Level - HVAC/Plumbing

We are a growing mechanical & plumbing consulting engineering firm seeking a motivated Mechanical HVAC & Plumbing Designer to join our team. We are open to applicants with industry experience, those applicants seeking to entry the industry, or someone simply seeking a career change. We specialize in HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical system design for commercial and institutional projects throughout Utah and surrounding regions. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys practical engineering work, problem solving, client interaction, and producing high-quality construction documents in an engineering consulting environment. Responsibilities Prepare HVAC and plumbing construction drawings using Revit and AutoCAD Assist with HVAC system layouts, ductwork, piping, and equipment coordination Develop mechanical plans, schedules, details, and diagrams Coordinate with architects, electrical engineers, structural engineers, and contractors Perform field verification and site visits as needed Support project managers and engineers through all phases of design Help maintain drafting standards and project organization Qualifications Experience with Revit (MEP) for experienced candidates Experience with AutoCAD for experienced candidates Background in HVAC drafting or mechanical building systems for experienced candidates Understanding of commercial HVAC systems and construction for experienced candidates Ability to work independently and manage deadlines Strong communication and coordination skills Consulting engineering experience preferred, but not required Additional Information Company benefits include: 401K, medical and dental insurance, short-term and long-term disability, group life insurance, PTO, company paid fitness memberships, etc. Flexible structure for full-time, part-time, or contract-based candidates Flexible work environment, including hybrid office/home work Competitive compensation based on experience - final compensation shall be determined per applicant Opportunity for growth and increased responsibility Direct involvement with real projects and clients Smaller team environment with less corporate structure Exposure to a wide variety of project types All applicants are welcome.
