The Recycling Warehouse Associate / Cutter plays a key role in the deconstruction and processing of mattresses and box springs. This position involves working closely with a small team to efficiently separate materials, operate compaction machines, and ensure quality handling of recyclable components. Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are essential to this hands-on role.

Responsibilities

• Deconstruct mattresses and box springs into component materials
• Operate machines that compact individual recyclable materials
• Sort and separate various materials produced during deconstruction
• Inspect materials to maintain quality standards
• Lifting and carrying materials up to 50 lbs
• Manage inventory of processed materials

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in warehouse operations or material handling
• Basic knowledge of machine operation
• Physical stamina for prolonged periods on feet
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality
• Effective time management skills
