Site Safety Coordinator

Our client, a leader in the construction and industrial sectors, is seeking a C-Safety Coordinator to join their team. As a C-Safety Coordinator, you will be part of the safety and compliance department supporting project sites and field operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, proactive communication, and a commitment to safety excellence, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Kingsport, TN

Pay Range: $64

What's the Job?

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of site-specific safety programs, procedures, and initiatives.
• Provide visible field leadership through regular site inspections, safety observations, and engagement with employees and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations, client requirements, and company safety standards.
• Conduct site safety audits, risk assessments, job hazard analyses (JHAs), and behavioral safety observations.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive safety experience in construction, industrial, manufacturing, energy, or similar field-based environments.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations, industry best practices, and risk management principles.
• Experience conducting incident investigations, safety audits, and compliance assessments.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence all levels of an organization.
• Ability to deliver training and effectively engage field personnel, contractors, and site leadership.
