Accounting Associate IIThe Accounting Associate II is an intermediate level clerical position that provides accounting support for the company. The tasks at this level range from routine to moderate in difficulty requiring some analysis and limited judgment. The Accounting Associate II operates with a general degree of supervision and instruction.Typical Functions:Manages a high volume of simple to moderately complex processes including, but not limited to, company billing, accounts payable, payroll, and/or collectionsProvides general project accounting support beginning with project initiation through project close-outProvides general administrative support, including phone support and filingEnsures the integrity and accuracy of data (time entry, employee expense reimbursements, billings, etc.)Assists in the development of entry level accounting staff.Requirements:Associates Degree or higher in accounting or related fieldMinimum two years office experience, preferably in an accounting departmentBasic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and/or QuickBooksWorkday experience a plusDetail-oriented natureExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAnalytical skillsStrong customer service orientationSensitivity to confidentialityCulture, Compensation, and Benefits:Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc. Actual hourly rate will be based on several factors including consideration for a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role while remaining mindful of our commitment to internal equity.
