Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends and Holidays | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery throughout all stages of labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum
• Perform Post-Partum care for both mother and newborn following delivery
• Serve as a circulator in the birth center setting
• Monitor fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal condition
• Float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities as needed
• Complete required orientation modules prior to and during the start of assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, including Post-Partum care for mother and baby
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification
• Circulator experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health records system
• Current ACLS certification
• Current STABLE certification
