Job- Power BI Developer

Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated BI Developer with expertise in building dashboards and reports using Sisense and extracting data from SQL data stores. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and be familiar with building data models and cubes. This role will involve close collaboration with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver insightful and impactful business intelligence solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Sisense to meet business requirements.
• Write efficient SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from SQL data stores.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy across reporting solutions.
• Assist in optimizing Sisense dashboards for performance and scalability.
• Support data modeling efforts, helping to create cubes and data structures that meet business intelligence requirements.
• Implement ETL processes to support reporting needs, including data extraction, transformation, and loading into appropriate data structures.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for existing dashboards, reports, and data pipelines.
• Document and maintain technical solutions and processes for BI deliverables.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience as a BI Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Sisense for building dashboards and reports.
• Strong SQL skills for extracting and manipulating data from relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts, including ETL processes, data modeling, and cube building.
• Experience working with large datasets and optimizing queries for performance.
• Familiarity with BI best practices and reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms especially GCP is a plus.
