Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Alpine, Texas.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: OR - Operating Room

• 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8 hours, days

Role / Schedule

• Operating Room RN
• Call required: 1–2 weeks/month
• Must be able to work across Pre-Op, Circulating, and Post-Op
• Job description also includes scrubbing/assisting surgeons during cases

Requirements

• 2+ years OR RN experience
• Prior travel experience required
• Current Texas or Multistate RN license
• BLS, ALS, PALS
• No local candidates accepted

OR Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative care following AORN and regulatory standards
• Circulate and assist throughout surgical cases
• Scrub/assist physicians as needed
• Prepare and ensure appropriate surgical supplies
• Help maintain case timeliness and OR workflow
• Communicate with patient families
• Maintain/update physician preference cards
• Supervise personnel involved in patient care
• Work closely with surgeons, anesthesia, OR techs, and other surgical staff
