Job Description:

The primary role for this individual is performing moderate sedation administration, monitoring, and documentation during Transesophageal Echocardiogram procedures within the Echo department. This individual will not be required to work in the Cath Lab.

Responsibilities:

• The procedural nurse is responsible for the safe administration, continuous monitoring, and documentation of moderate sedation during Inpatient and Outpatient Transesophageal Echocardiography procedures.

Requirements:

• 2 years Cardiac Intensive Care
• BLS (AHA), ACLS
• Moderate sedation administration experience preferred
