About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President, Acquisitions to spearhead industrial investment activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the entire process of sourcing, underwriting, negotiating, and executing institutional-quality industrial acquisitions. This role demands a strong emphasis on relationship-driven deal origination and the ability to manage transactions from start to finish. The SVP will also be instrumental in presenting investment recommendations to executive leadership and will work closely with various internal teams, including Asset Management, Construction Management, and Finance. A key aspect of the position is the establishment of the Dallas office and the development of a dedicated regional investment team. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred, and a minimum of 10 years' of experience in institutional commercial real estate acquisitions, particularly in the industrial sector. A proven track record in the full acquisition process, extensive relationships within the Texas industrial investment and brokerage community, and a deep understanding of logistics, warehouse, and distribution assets are essential. The role requires strong financial modeling, valuation, and underwriting skills, including proficiency in ARGUS, as well as experience in preparing and presenting investment committee memoranda. The ideal candidate will have a deal sheet, be entrepreneurial, highly accountable, and capable of operating independently in a growth-oriented environment. Experience with an institutional owner, investment manager, private equity firm, or REIT is preferred, and the role involves a willingness to travel throughout Texas as necessary.
