Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision. The nurse demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care. Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Full command of the English language, both verbal and written.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS card.

Shifts: 12 hour days or nights

Hours per Week: 36 or 48 for 8/31

Contract Length: 13 Week(s)

Details of Assignment: 8/17 Start Only for 48's. 8/31 or later will be 36's only! MedSurg RN Needed for Oncology Unit - BILL RATE - $95! 24 beds of Hematology/Oncology/Gyn Oncology and med surg. 9 beds of Hematology and Cellular Therapy. Administer Chemotherapy, manage side effects, patients receiving radiation therapy and radioisotopes. Most common dx include lymphoma, leukemia and ovarian cancers. Preferred Experience: Chest tubes Tubes Drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone - Lines/Tubes/drains for post-surgical patients - Trachs/Laryngectomies Telemetry Complex wounds - Central Lines care and maintenance and blood draws
