Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAbout the Role:Join PROPELLING AVIATION LLC as an Avionics Installer in Rockwood, TN, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing aviation technology. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge avionics systems in a dynamic environment.Responsibilities:Fabricate and/or install basic avionics and electrical systems.Assist with complex system installations and tasks.Disassemble and reassemble aircraft interior as needed to facilitate avionics installs/repairsLight sheet metal fabrications as directed to facilitate avionics installation or repairsAssist with wiring harness wire board set up and lay outComplete wiring harness fabrication and installationComplete antenna installationsComplete coax installationsComplete or assist with electrical harness continuity & power checksComplete or assist with ground operational tests and inspectionsComply with Pre-Post Test FlightsComply with 91.411-413 TestsEnsure all tags are properly filled out and attached to respective parts.Able to consistently produce quality work, setting high standards, team player, good attitude, company oriented.Requirements:Minimum of 5+ years of experience with Corporate or General Aviation aircraftHelicopter experience preferred but not requiredKnowledge of AC43.13 standard aircraft wiring practices Sheet metal experience preferred but not requiredAbility to read and interpret aircraft wiring diagramsUnderstanding of basic electrical components & systemsProficient with soldering and terminal / pin crimping techniquesGood troubleshooting skills with both digital & analog systemsKnowledge of autopilot systemsFamiliarization with basic Avionics test equipmentA&P license a plusExcellent benefits, Retirement Plan.FCC License a plusAbout Us:PROPELLING AVIATION LLC has been a leader in the aviation industry for over a decade, providing top-notch avionics solutions to our clients.
