Inside Sales Assistant

Support outside sales representatives with account setup, opportunity tracking, and market intelligence/competitive data Follow up on internal and external leads for sales development Assist in developing pricing strategies and managing contract pricing structures in collaboration with M3 customer master/Nolwood 02 pricing Collaborate with sales leadership on territory planning, lead generation and growth initiatives Prepare materials for sales meetings, customer presentations, and business reviews Work with vendors to provide samples and product literature to the sales team Develop and manage pricing models aligned with company margin goals utilizing Nolwood 02-Pricing for mass quote updates Support bid preparation and large account pricing strategies for municipalities Business Analytics & Reporting Generate and analyze sales reports, forecasts, and KPIs as needed by sales and branch management Track sales performance versus targets and identify trends or gaps Maintain dashboards and reporting tools to support decision-making Technical & Product Support Provide internal support on chemical products, applications, and specifications by corresponding with the Nolwood TechServ team Assist sales team with product selection guidance and technical documentation by corresponding with the Nolwood Tech Serv team Support compliance efforts related to product data, regulatory requirements, and safety information in correlation with the Nolwood EHS/compliance team (ie…bleach/sodium hypochlorite surveys, DEA, COI requirements) Administrative & CRM Management Maintain accurate sales data, pricing structures, and account information in CRM/ERP systems in correlation with Nolwood 02-pricing and sales management Support pipeline tracking, opportunity management, and sales forecasting tools Assist with documentation for contracts, agreements, and supplier programs, TDS/SDS, COA’s etc Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Chemistry, or related field); equivalent experience considered 2–5 years of experience in sales support, analytics, pricing, or commercial operations, preferably in chemical or industrial distribution Experience working with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., Infor, SAP, NetSuite, Salesforce) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis tools Excellent communication and collaboration abilities High attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of chemical products and market dynamics (preferred) Office-based in the Nolwood Weirton facility, highly collaborative role Frequent interaction with internal teams including sales, procurement, and leadership Exposure to market analytics, pricing strategy, and supplier coordination Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Pricing accuracy and margin performance Reporting timeliness and data integrity Contribution to sales growth initiatives Effectiveness of pricing strategies and market insights
