Senior Power Electronics Engineer

We’re recruiting for a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to design and improve power conversion hardware used in demanding aerospace and defense applications. This is a hands-on role with ownership from early design through testing and production support.
What you’ll do
- Design switching power converters and evaluate circuit topologies, components, and performance tradeoffs.
- Develop schematics and perform circuit, thermal, and reliability analyses.
- Troubleshoot prototypes and production hardware, identify root causes, and implement design improvements.
- Partner with mechanical engineering, manufacturing, quality, and test teams to bring designs into production.
- Support design reviews, documentation, and product qualification activities.
What we’re looking for
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong, hands-on experience designing power electronics or switching power converters .
- Experience taking hardware through design, testing, troubleshooting, and production.
- Ability to work across analog, digital, and power circuitry.
- Aerospace or defense experience is preferred, but engineers from other industries with relevant power conversion experience are encouraged to apply.
- Experience with ECAD tools and regulated product development is a plus.
Candidates must meet the U.S. person requirement for access to export-controlled technical data.
