With nearly 10,000 employees in more than 225 locations around the world, we think global and act local.In the role of Area Airfield Design Business Class Leader, we'll count on you to: Take responsibility for area-wide development, coordination, monitoring and improvement of technical competencies of airfield business class staff and products to meet client needs and market driversCollaborate on business class efforts with area and company operations, marketing and managementDevelop and lead business class practice and professional discipline groups, and project teamsParticipate in and contribute to annual business plan development. Partner with market Sector and Business Group leadership in managing business plan goals throughout the yearInternally and externally recruit, develop and retain aviation staff in accordance with Market Sector needs and strategyTake responsibility for area-wide development, coordination, monitoring and improvement of technical competencies of Aviation business class staff and products to meet client needs and market driversOversee delivery of project services and deliverables to meet client expectations, workload leveling needs and best-practice applicationResponsible for overseeing design deliverables with technical accuracy and quality controlServe as an ambassador for our internal quality program for airfield design business class services, and oversee QA/QC proceduresOversee project teams to successfully deliver on a variety of projectsOversee the writing of technical reports, presentations, and other materialsPreferred Qualifications:Proficient in aviation planning and design principlesDemonstrated history in successfully leading teams on complex airport / airfield projectsExperience with FAA and US DoD Aviation design criteriaExperience with large, multi-disciplined programs at hub airportsGeographic diversity of experience throughout the USKnowledge of aviation market in Florida including client relationships and past project experience Possesses excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as leadership, planning and mentoring skills Master's degreePMP certificationPreference given to local candidates*LI-MR1QualificationsRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field 10 years of experience Committed to quality, improvement and HDR valuesMaintains a professional or engineering registration and has related technical experience Experienced in development and management of diverse teams Works cooperatively with other area business class leaders, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers on business class efforts An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We BelieveHDR is our company.
