Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will have a hands-on role in delivering vital services to children and families. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments of children with disabilities or developmental delays to inform treatment planning.
  • Participating in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring that they are tailored to meet the specific needs of each child and family.
  • Regularly monitoring and documenting the outcomes of interventions as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Providing crucial support and resources to families, allowing them to actively participate in their child's development and educational journey.
  • Utilizing evidence-based practices and Natural Learning Environment Practices to facilitate child learning and development during home visits and interactions.
  • Developing strong, trusting relationships with children and their families to create a supportive environment for growth and learning.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant federal and state regulations to maintain high standards of care.
  • Implementing strategies and adjustments based on feedback from families and developmental assessments.
  • Adopting a coaching model in teaching and guiding families, which involves sharing knowledge about enhancing their child’s development in natural settings.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on children aged birth to three years who are experiencing delays or disabilities. You will work closely with their families, providing direct support and guidance to foster developmental skills in areas such as physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication development. Our approach targets the needs of vulnerable populations, ensuring equitable access to resources and support.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
  • Active LCSW licensure from the Department of Public Health.
  • A valid driver’s license to facilitate travel for home visits.
  • Confidence in adapting strategies to cater to various learning styles and developmental needs of children.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills for managing case documentation and family interactions.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated commitment to respecting diverse perspectives and working collaboratively.

Preferred Experience

We value experience that aligns with our mission. Candidates with the following experience will be highly regarded:

  • At least one year of experience working in early intervention settings with young children.
  • Demonstrated expertise in using Natural Learning Environment Practices.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 80,000 annually, commensurate with experience. We offer a generous benefits package, including:
