Per Diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine, CMH

Position Details Department: Emergency Department, UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital Schedule: Per Diem with flexibility Compensation: Competitive hourly pay: $91.86–$107.20 Responsibilities Provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a busy Emergency Department. Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad spectrum of acute and urgent conditions. Perform appropriate procedures within scope. Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic studies. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Collaborate with ED physicians, hospitalists, and ancillary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications Active NYS license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience required. Prior Emergency Department or urgent care experience strongly preferred. Strong critical thinking, decision‑making, and procedural skills. Excellent communication and patient‑care abilities.
