Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
- Previous experience or strong interest in Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Ability to effectively implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Familiarity with evidence-based instructional practices for students with autism
- Collaborative skills for working with support staff, related service providers, and families
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities
- Passion for fostering growth and positive outcomes for diverse learners
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction to students in a structured autism classroom setting
- Adapt and modify lessons to meet individual learning needs and IEP goals
- Utilize behavior management strategies and positive reinforcement techniques
- Track student progress, collect data, and update documentation as required
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and review student IEPs
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and strategies
