- 7 Antepartum Beds
- 10 Labor Beds (Note: Room 11 is currently out of service)
- 2 LDOR Rooms
- 2 LD PACU Bays
Number of Staff: 79
Staffing Breakdown:
- Day Shift: 1 CNC, 1 Unit Secretary, 8 RNs, 2 Scrub Techs, 1 TCN, 1 Resource TCN
- Night Shift: 1 CNC, 1 Unit Secretary, 2 Scrub Techs, 7 RNs, 1 TCN, 1 Resource TCN

Patient Care Ratios

OBED: 1:2-4 (depending on acuity)
APU: 1:2-4 (depending on acuity)
LDU: 1:1-2 (depending on acuity)

Typical Hiring Profile

Required Skills:

2 years of Labor and Delivery Unit experience (post-orientation)
ACLS, BLS, AWOHNN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, NRP
Magnesium Sulfate and Oxytocin drip management
Insulin drip management (occasionally)

Preferred Skills:

Experience in Transition Care Nursing (TCN) for Neonates - Not required but advantageous

Cancellations: The unit may cancel shifts up to 2 times within a 13-week contract period based on census
Weekend Commitments: 4 weekend shifts required in a 4-week schedule period
