Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) * Corrections * Day Shift
Join our team as an LVN in a Texas correctional facility, providing vital healthcare in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver nursing care and administer medications.
* Monitor and report patient health changes.
* Maintain accurate records.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals.
* Float to nearby units as needed.
Schedule:
* Day Shift: 4:45 AM * 5:15 PM
* 36 hours/week guaranteed, potential for 48*hour rotations.
* Flexible scheduling, including holidays.
* Overtime available.
Qualifications:
* Valid LVN license in Texas or compact state.
* BLS and IV Therapy Certification.
* 2 years of nursing experience, 1 year in Acute Care or Med Surg.
* Experience in LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing, or Psych preferred.
Requirements:
* COVID*19 vaccination required, exemptions accepted.
* Ability to work independently and professionally.
