Design Engineer

Location: Gallipolis, OH | Schedule: Full-time, on-site Overview An established manufacturer is seeking a Design Engineer to design, develop, and optimize electrical components. This role partners with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet performance, efficiency, and reliability requirements. What you'll do Create detailed designs for electrical components Develop prototypes and conduct testing to validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance metrics such as efficiency, torque, and durability Collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, meet industry standards, and satisfy product specifications Prepare technical documentation Identify opportunities to enhance designs for improved efficiency, reduced weight, and lower production costs Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and environmental regulations Manage multiple design projects simultaneously Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering 1-6 years of experience in design engineering Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles Proficiency in CAD software Why this role This position offers the opportunity to manage multiple design projects and directly influence product efficiency, durability, and manufacturability at an established manufacturer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Software Placement Group, SPG
