As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care according to established standards while utilizing your clinical expertise and independent judgment.Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients, supervises various levels of nursing staff, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient outcomes.Essential FunctionsCollect relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues.Develop and implement care plans that prescribe interventions to achieve desired outcomes.Evaluate patient progress toward attaining health outcomes.Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe, compassionate care.Provide health education and resources to patients and their families.Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.Delegate tasks effectively among healthcare team members as needed.Fulfill other related duties as assigned.Job RequirementsEducation and Work ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.Experience in an acute care setting preferred.Licenses/CertificationsRegistered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification is required.Organizational RequirementsCommitment to the safety and well-being of associates and patients is paramount.
