Housekeeper's Mission: The housekeeping's mission is to create a clean and luxurious experience, by keeping the hotel organized so that it has a good presentation. Continuously raising the level of the guest's experience and exceed the expectations.

• Organize work schedule from the room status list, arrivals and departures
• Distribute linen, towels and room supplies using wheeled carts or by hand
• Restock room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos, writing supplies
• Replace dirty linens with clean items
• Store all dirty laundry in line with company policy
• Collaborate with other hotel staff members to ensure efficient operations
• Check all appliances in rooms are in working order
• Realign furniture and amenities according to safety protocols
• Respond to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills, broken glasses
• Organize and restock cart at the end of the shift
• Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms
• Follow all company safety and security procedures
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
• Observe and report damage of hotel property
• Good communication skills including the ability to listen carefully and ask the right questions to gain clarification
• Declining a request politely if it goes against hotel policies
• Distribute supplies to room as needed per request of guest, pillows, towels, blankets, rollaway, toiletry supplies, pack and play
• Clean guest rooms in a timely manner

Knowledge and Experience

• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods
• Knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials
• Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment
• Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend
• Ability to lift, push and pull required load (usually about 50lbs)

Position Requirements: Colleagues must be able to work a flexible work schedule as needed; including nights and weekends; Colleagues must be able to rotate shifts as needed; Colleagues must be able to be on their feet for 8-12 hours during their shift.
