Maintenance Technician II, 2nd Shift

Machine Maintenance Technician IIAs a Machine Maintenance Technician II, you will play a critical role in our organization by ensuring the proper functioning, reliability, and longevity of Astemo's machinery and equipment. Your primary responsibilities will be to perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and carry out repairs in order to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency and quality. This Technician would focus on Machine Maintenance on 2nd Shift.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform scheduled maintenance tasks on a variety of machines and equipment, according to maintenance schedules and guidelinesReplace or repair defective parts such as; belts, bearings, motors, or sensorsIdentify and diagnose mechanical, electrical problems or abnormalities in the machinesCollaborate with team members and team leads to analyze and resolve complex technical problemsCalibrate and align machinery to ensure optimal performance and accuracyMaintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usedAdhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with the machinery, as well as comply with industry regulations and standards to ensure equipment is operating within legal and safety parametersProvide technical support to production teams to minimize operational disruptionsMinimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):High School Diploma or GEDMinimum of 3 years work-related experience.Knowledge of computer systems and spreadsheets necessary to perform job dutiesKnowledge of both high and low voltages AC & DCPreferred Qualifications:PLC troubleshooting experienceRobot teaching and programming experienceSkills and Abilities:Ability to promote and carry out the Astemo philosophyProven ability to make sound business decisions, exercises good judgement and be highly motivatedExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh level of accuracyMaintains clean and orderly work environmentSafety and Environmental Management :Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations.Ensuring compliance with ISO 14001 environmental management standards.Software:Basic experience required in Windows, Excel, PowerPoint and InternetIntermediate experience in GloviaEssential Job Functions:Standing, walking, and bending for the duration of the workdayAbility to lift and/or move up to 25 lbsFull Motor SkillsFollow all Astemo safety guidelinesFollow all company regulations related to manufacturing process and qualityEquipment Used:Personal ComputerHand toolsPersonal Protective EquipmentClean room environmentEqual Opportunity Employer (EOE) – Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, identity, disability, protected veteran status and national origin.At Astemo, we're challenging the status quo with the power of diversity, inclusion, and collaboration.
