Job Summary
Operating Room Pediatrics Only (OR PEDS) specialist position in a healthcare setting. This role involves providing surgical care for a diverse pediatric patient population, including neonates, children, and adults with developmentally delayed or congenital anomalies. The position offers a comprehensive clinical experience within a level II pediatric trauma center with a dedicated pediatric intensive care unit.

Job Details

• Position Description: 0645 1915 Simplifi Clinical Interview + Unit Second Interview
• Years of Experience: 2 years high-level acute (OR) experience; candidates with adults + peds will be considered, including those with 5+ years for first-time travel; experience with neonates 18+, developmentally delayed, congenital anomalies, trauma cases, neurosurgery, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, oncology, ENT, general surgery, dental, ophthalmology, robotics, and other related specialties.
• Required Licensure/Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), Washington State or compact RN license; CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse) preferred.
• Skills Required: Circulating experience with the listed case types, highly preferred IV starts, scrub experience, robotics, neuro, ophthalmology, dental.
• Schedule: 12-hour days, start at 0645, end at 1915, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Floating across PICU, NICU, and assisting anesthesia as needed. May be assigned to weekend shifts if staff are off; on-call required approx. 2 weeknights and 1 weekend every 6 weeks with a 30-minute response time; no night shift required to take call. Scrub color provided.
