Interior Designer

Destree Design Architects, Inc. is an award-winning design firm specializing in commercial environments, higher education facilities, and custom single-family residential projects. We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Interior Designer with a strong interest in both workplace environments and high-end residential design. This position involves concept development, material research, design development, and direct interaction with clients and contractors. Responsibilities include coordinating project work and submittals with consultants; preparing Revit and AutoCAD drawings; reviewing shop drawings; developing SketchUp and Revit presentations; selecting finishes and furnishings; preparing construction documents and specifications; and minor procurement. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of Interior Design experience Solid design talent that reflects innovative solutions Ability to interpret construction documents and apply building codes related to interior architecture SketchUp, Lumion, & Enscape experience is a plus Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator experience is a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to self-direct your schedule, multitask and prioritize your day, communicate, and function as part of a design team. Experience performing in a deadline-driven environment where accuracy and timeliness are critical. CIDQ certification is a plus Education / Degree : Associate, BA or BS in Interior Design or Interior Architecture This is a full-time employee position.
