Interventional Radiology TechnologistShift times: 4x10s 0700-1730 Call is required Required: IR/Cath/GI Procedural Experience, prefer IR including body and neuro procedures BLS and ACLS required Oregon License requiredDepartment Summary: Patients in Interventional Radiology are cared for by a multidisciplinary team including Registered Nurses, Interventional Radiology Technologists, and Interventionalists. The department is open Monday through Friday from 07:30 to 16:00 for routine and emergent cases and an on-call team is available 7 days a week for all cases after routine hours of operation.Department Specific Working Conditions:Requires the ability to ride the Arial tram throughout the dayRequires the ability to tolerate moving throughout entire shiftRequires the flexibility to stay focused and have your assignment changed several times throughout your shiftRequires weekend and after hours call and ability to report to work within 30 min of being calledDepartment Specific Requirements (competencies, equipment, certifications, etc.):Minimum 2 year Critical Care, PACU, ED, Procedural experienceConfidence to work next to and communicate directly with physicians throughout the shiftExcellent communication skills including active listening, the ability to engage with a diverse set of patient populations, and success with conflict managementAbility to work independently and as part of a team while being collaborative in resolving problemsAbility to successfully navigate complex patient care coordination needs independentlyServe as a role model in supporting and promoting OHSU's vision and missionEfficient time management to effectively move patients through the system
