Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a dual-role Cath Lab/EP position requiring a minimum of two years of recent EP experience and proficiency in both specialties.

Details

• Dual-role position covering both Electrophysiology (EP) and Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Patient population includes stroke, neuro intervention, cerebral thrombectomies, and embolizations cases
• Trauma experience is part of the clinical scope
• Epic EMR is used in this setting

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA required at time of consideration
• Minimum two years of recent EP experience required
• Experience in both EP and Cath Lab specialties required
• Comfort and proficiency performing in a dual EP/Cath Lab role required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must successfully complete a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening, including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks, abuse registry review, and screening for disqualifying offenses

Additional Information

• Candidates must pass a Basic Arrhythmia (EKG) assessment; if the initial attempt is not passed at 100% in lethal rhythms, a retake (Dysrhythmia Exam B) must be completed within 24 hours with an overall Angoff score of 83% or higher, 100% in the lethal rhythm section, and 83% in all other sections
• Proof of vaccination status is required — declinations are not accepted
• Smoke-free facility
