Assistant Account Manager

Primary Responsibilities: Assists Account Manager by doing data entry or by assisting in any other areas as instructed by the Account Manager. Minimum Qualifications: Must be detail oriented and have the ability to handle multiple tasks. Requires working to established procedures and meeting deadlines. Maintains knowledge of underwriting criteria for carriers represented by the agency. Must be able to work independently with little supervision and have good problem solving skills. Must have the ability to understand policy forms, rating and coverage descriptions. Demonstrated customer service skills and basic knowledge of computer programs. Type 30 – 45 wpm. High School Diploma required. Previous experience in the insurance industry preferred. A Hawaii Property-Casualty insurance producer’s license required by the State of Hawaii Department of Insurance preferred. Other duties as required by the position.
