A Day in the Life of a Clinical Care Tech (Video Link Below) Qualifications: Required: * High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. * BLS required.(American Heart Association) Preferred: * Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program preferred. * Certified nursing assistant preferred. * Clerical experience to include typing and filing preferred Scheduling Requirements: * Evening Shift Essential Functions: * The CCT is a direct patient caregiver who assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care to patients including phlebotomy and EKG's. * Assists the Director of Patient Care and the staff nurses by performing specific clerical functions for assigned areas, * Providing patient care, based on physical, education, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients in assigned service * Providing for effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment and critical actions * Ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient's care * Participating in collaboration of our patient's plan of care from ad mission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning Other Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
