ROUTE DRIVER - MICROMARKET (FULL TIME)

Job Summary Summary: The Route Driver operates a company vehicle over an established route to deliver products, maintain micro markets and associated equipment, and represents Canteen to customers. The role requires a professional demeanor, strong customer service skills, and the ability to manage inventory and route logistics. Advancement to entry‑level management is possible. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for micro markets. Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance. Understand and enforce company policies as required. Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of micro markets and related equipment. Conduct minor service and adjustments on markets; report defective equipment to maintenance or technician dispatcher. Prior to each route, ensure the vehicle is properly loaded with all required product and that all operational procedures are followed. Inform regular clients and customers of new products or services, listen to and resolve service complaints. Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers. Accountable for receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash collected, and product. Conduct inventory reconciliation in accordance with district procedures. Keep company vehicle clean and organized; perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections. Perform all job functions safely and professionally. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Three years of driving experience required. Preferred 1–2 years in a customer service position or a minimum of 1 year of related experience. Valid non‑CDL Class C driver’s license, unless otherwise indicated by state regulations. Consistent ability to lift 50 lbs. Willingness to operate or learn material handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.).
