Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

Consilio’s Direct Hire division is partnering with a prestigious law firm client to identify a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal for its Washington, DC ( Dupont Circle ) office. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with partners and associates on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions in a dynamic, fast-paced legal environment.

Position Overview

The Commercial Real Estate Paralegal will play a key role in supporting all phases of transactional work—from due diligence through closing. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Paralegal certificate preferred
• 5+ years of commercial real estate and corporate experience, ideally within a law firm
• Strong work ethic with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and review title and survey materials; manage pro forma and policy terms
• Oversee entity formation and maintenance
• Draft authorizing resolutions and corporate governance documents
• Manage due diligence processes and track deliverables
• Abstract contracts and summarize key provisions
• Prepare and maintain checklists of critical dates and obligations
• Draft contract amendments and ancillary transaction documents
• Assist with drafting acquisition, sale, and closing documents
• Prepare closing statements and officer certificates
• Organize local counsel opinions and supporting documentation
• Coordinate all aspects of transaction closings
• Prepare and finalize closing binders

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $90,000 – $115,000 , commensurate with experience
