Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

Consilio’s Direct Hire division is partnering with a prestigious law firm client to identify a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal for its Washington, DC ( Dupont Circle ) office. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with partners and associates on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions in a dynamic, fast-paced legal environment.
Position Overview
The Commercial Real Estate Paralegal will play a key role in supporting all phases of transactional work—from due diligence through closing. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Paralegal certificate preferred
- 5+ years of commercial real estate and corporate experience, ideally within a law firm
- Strong work ethic with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and review title and survey materials; manage pro forma and policy terms
- Oversee entity formation and maintenance
- Draft authorizing resolutions and corporate governance documents
- Manage due diligence processes and track deliverables
- Abstract contracts and summarize key provisions
- Prepare and maintain checklists of critical dates and obligations
- Draft contract amendments and ancillary transaction documents
- Assist with drafting acquisition, sale, and closing documents
- Prepare closing statements and officer certificates
- Organize local counsel opinions and supporting documentation
- Coordinate all aspects of transaction closings
- Prepare and finalize closing binders
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $90,000 – $115,000 , commensurate with experience
- Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and 401(k)
