Serving two primary markets – passenger vehicle and commercial truck equipment – Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the installation and technical support of PLC, HMI, safety, servo, and vision-based hardware and software including, but not limited to: RSLogix 500/5000, Siemens, AVIX View, FT View Studio, SICK, Keyence, etc.Machine vision experience and knowledge (Keyence, Cognex, Datalogic, etc)Must be able to determine correct size of electrical components for PLC or PC based systems.Have a working knowledge of HMI (Human Machine Interface) devices.Design and engineering of programmable logic controls (PLC's) and modifications for a wide variety of manufacturing production equipment.Experience with Automation motion devices. Servo motors and controllers, variable frequence drives.Direct electrical assembly activities such as panel fabrication and component wiring.Evaluate and approve new equipment electrical and PLC programs for accuracy, function, completeness and documentation.To assist in the troubleshooting of machine malfunctions to include electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.Must be able to interpret electrical schematics and troubleshoot wiring circuits.Develop/ Maintain electrical design, schematics, and drawings in AutoCAD.Capable of troubleshooting hard-wired relay logic machine control panels.
