Slot Game Mathematician

We are advising a gaming company on a Slot Game Mathematician to design, develop, and validate mathematical models for new casino games.
A leading developer of high-performing casino games is hiring a talented Game Mathematician in Atlanta, GA . Join a creative and collaborative team building games that combine engaging mechanics, strong mathematical models, compelling player experiences, and polished execution. Responsibilities:- Partner with game designers to evaluate new concepts and develop mathematical proof-of-concepts.
- Design, develop, program, analyze, and document mathematical and statistical models for casino games.
- Apply probability, statistics, and data analysis to create new game math models.
- Translate game design requirements into mathematical logic and code compatible with production systems.
- Build simulation and analysis tools to evaluate game behavior, performance, and mathematical accuracy.
- Work with engineering and game design teams to prototype new games and features.
- Partner with QA to validate mathematical models and verify their correct implementation.
- Produce clear technical documentation, diagrams, flowcharts, and commented code supporting math releases.
- Participate occasionally in customer visits, industry events, or gameplay research.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 2+ years of mathematics, game math, or software engineering experience.
- Slot game mathematics design and validation experience.
- Strong knowledge of probability, statistics, and mathematical modeling.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Experience developing simulations, algorithms, or analytical tools.
- Ability to translate mathematical concepts into reliable production code.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to validate complex mathematical implementations.
- Experience working with cross-functional development teams.
- Agile/Scrum development experience preferred.
- The role is based in Atlanta, GA.
- It is in-office, 5 days per week.
