Social Worker in Warren, MI

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree in Social Work required
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for school social work credentials
• Demonstrated experience within a school or educational setting
• Background in providing behavioral intervention and crisis management
• Skilled at collaborating with families, educators, and community partners
• Experience working with students with disabilities is highly desirable

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide behavioral assessments and individualized intervention plans
• Facilitate crisis management and support during acute situations
• Deliver counseling and behavioral support services for students with disabilities
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to implement effective behavioral strategies
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and federal guidelines
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
