Tech - IR/Special Procedures

$2399.04/week –

Job Summary:
Seeking an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to provide specialized support in a high-volume cath lab environment. The candidate will operate advanced imaging and procedural equipment to assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor imaging equipment such as MacLab, GE ultrasounds, and other specialized devices during procedures.

• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures including PCI, STEMI, pacemaker/ICD implants, and cardiac ablations.

• Ensure accurate documentation of procedures using Expanse, MacLab, and CardioLab systems.

• Maintain equipment readiness, including calibration and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and unit guidelines, including infection control and patient safety standards.

• Support patient care efforts before, during, and after procedures, providing compassionate and efficient service.

Qualifications:

• Valid Radiologic Technologist license or relevant IR tech credential.

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab.

• Proficiency with MACLab, GE Ultrasound, Pyxis, and other lab equipment.

• Strong knowledge of diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures, including PCI, STEMI, and device implants.

• Must hold current ACLS and BLS certifications.

• Ability to work 4x10s or 3x12s schedule with call responsibilities.
