Phlebotomist - Float
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a float phlebotomist for Troy, Michigan to perform blood collections and specimen handling across multiple clinic locations in the Detroit area. The role offers variety and professional growth within a diagnostic laboratory network.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information accurately and maintain specimen logs
- Process billing and collect patient payments when necessary
- Travel between multiple clinic sites as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year or more phlebotomy experience
- Phlebotomy certification from accredited agency or completed training program
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- At least 21 years old
