Job Description Job Description Fosters Painting & Wallcovering, Inc. is looking for a Project Accountant. This position is responsible for accurate financial reporting and financial compliance among other responsibilities. This role requires Strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset while processing construction workflows and systems. Prior experience is Required for this position. Key Duties: Displays first-rate customer service skills by maintaining a positive attitude and willingness to assist team members. Maintains highly organized work environment, communicates clearly, concisely and professionally. Processes all financial data with in QBO (QuickBooks Online) – Must be ProAdvisor for this position and must be able to show certificate that you completed the ProAdvisor certification. Understands Payroll and HR processes along with workflows, including recording into QBO accordingly, paying employees and providing applicable support to the Project Manager. Process G702/703 forms for payment and controls the following programs for accurate workflows: · Textura · GC Pay · Procore Will also be using a 3-rd party program called ClockShark for timecard processing and job costing. Processes A/R and A/P payments in QBO Processing accurate Job Costing on all projects and able to rectify any discrepancies that may arise. Accurately able to process ALL audits (GL, Workers Comp etc.) Must be a Colorado Public Notary and carry current notary credentials. (must always keep this current in this position) Education: · QBO ProAdvisor (Must show current credentials) · 2-5 Years of financial, accounting and data analysis experience · Construction Accounting experience is a MUST · Certified Payroll experience is a MUST · CCIP Processing experience is strongly preferred Required Skills: · Ability to work well independently and collaboratively as part of the team · Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a passion for continuous improvement · High attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies · Effective written and verbal communication · Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills · Experience with Excel functions, along with Microsoft Word and Outlook **This position is a Hybrid position. You are required to come into the office for billing once a month. The rest of the workflow will be processed from you at home. This requires a lot of Communication to process accordingly and accurately. Company Description We are a commercial painting company with 20 to 45 employees.
