Shipping Clerk

We are looking for a Shipping Clerk for a growing manufacturer in Leetsdale, PA. This person will prepare, pack and ship products, including inspect for defects, comparing to packing lists, and preparing shipping documents. Will ship items via UPS and Fed Ex and over the road carrier, both international and domestic, and interact with people in these companies.


Training is provided.

Full time weekly work schedule of Monday- Friday, 6AM- 2.30PM. Possible overtime. This location is on a bus line.

The starting pay is $18.35 per hour. Pay will gradually increase, and by the end of the first year ill make $20.15 per hour. Plus discretionary annual bonus.

Direct hire to company payroll with a full benefits package. Benefits include add-ons like employee lunches and reimbursement for steel toes. The plant has a friendly family-like atmosphere. There is room for growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions and good attention to detail
• Can operate a computer and learn shipping software
• Experience shipping is required
• Experience in manufacturing is helpful
• Capable of learning to use a forklift
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position that include standing, walking and lifting for the entire shift
• Must be able to pass a preemployment drug and criminal background check
