Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: September 25, 2026

Location: Akron, Ohio

Schedule: Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM). Contract options available for 13-20 weeks with potential extension opportunities up to 18 months.

Requirements:

• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license required at time of application
• Minimum 18 months of recent permanent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be active, not pending)
• NIHSS certification required
• Successfully pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (two attempts maximum)
• Professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director from within the past 12 months in the specialty area
• Completion of BCI/FBI background check within 48 hours of contract signing
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Negative drug screening required
• Clear background check with no open cases and no license disciplinary actions
