About the role: As a Project Controls Specialist - Scheduling Discipline, you will be responsible for a subset of the project controls activities. These activities are for the FH&ES project portfolio, which includes projects with varying complexity, such as LEU+ implementation projects. These projects span multiple organizations within Westinghouse. You will report to the Resource Operations Manager and work a hybrid schedule based in Cranberry, PA.

Key responsibilities include:

• Clear communication of required information promptly
• Coordination of required tasks/deadlines
• Escalation of issues and providing early warnings of potential issues or opportunities to management
• Initiating and planning all controls aspects of a project, including establishing project baselines and creating risk registers
• Applying tools and techniques to plan work to reduce inefficiencies and optimize overall project performance
• Using schedule, cost, and risk analytics to confirm the validity of the overall program plan
• Analyzing needs and planning for unique customer satisfaction and project performance metrics
• Assuming overall project responsibility for the schedule
• Supporting project managers to ensure projects are delivered within budget
• Overseeing schedule adherence
• Maintaining an understanding of program scope with project goals and making recommendations to modify the program to enhance effectiveness toward the project result or strategic intent
• Overseeing closure of projects within the program
• Communicating opportunities for improvement, lessons learned, and risk avoidance for future work
• Developing relationships with product line teams, customers, and suppliers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management or related technical discipline
• Advanced degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Accounting, Construction Management or related technical discipline
• 5+ years of project controls experience required
• Project controls experience in a technical industry such as engineering, manufacturing, nuclear or construction
• Knowledge and skill in project schedule tools including Primavera and MS Project

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $103,200 to $129,000 per year.
