Production Supervisor The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role leads production teams, drives adherence to operational standards, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. The position plays a key role in optimizing productivity, maintaining compliance, and ensuring alignment with operational and quality objectives. Compensation for this position will be determined based on a combination of factors, including education, professional certifications, relevant experience, and other job-related considerations permitted by law. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop production employees to achieve productivity, quality, and safety objectives. Oversee production schedules and daily operations to optimize resource utilization, product yields, and operational efficiency. Ensure products meet established quality standards and comply with company policies, plant procedures, and regulatory requirements. Facilitate employee training, qualification activities, and continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean manufacturing programs. Monitor operational performance metrics, conduct routine safety and housekeeping inspections, and implement actions to improve productivity and efficiency. Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, quality systems, OSHA and EPA requirements, and ERP systems. Strong computer proficiency and ability to utilize operational systems and reporting tools. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Preferred Qualifications Experience leading Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives. Experience managing production schedules and monitoring operational performance metrics. Demonstrated ability to develop employees and improve operational efficiency through process improvements.
